Carpe Diem 532 – ‘Movement’

I’ve been a busy bunny, landscaping my two halves of a garden and have barely had any time to sit down and write, let alone rest. Today, I made myself stop and become more calm. I hope these haiku reflect that!

Stillness eludes me.

Stuttered breath within betrays

my stammering heart.

The moment eternal

lives inside our breath, yet we

expel it as waste.

The candle gleams bright,

singular, as thoughts focus

and breath becomes still.
