Carpe Diem Haiku – 496, Hiking

Suffering like crazy with lung infection right now and feeling very low; save for my gorgeous wife’s ministrations, I fear I would have been more ill than I currently am. Love that lady so much! xxxx

Anyway, first time of being able to be vertical in nearly 3 days so thought I’d try to do something other than cough!

The intention of

communing with one’s self comes

easy when alone. Is the place to go!

  1. Oh dear. I’ve had lung issues before too and it’s a terrible thing. Here’s hoping you’re back to health soon — and — hats off to your lovely wife! 🙂

Liked the idea of “communing with one’s self” – one of the best parts of hiking, no?

All the best to you —

    • Thank you for your kind words. It is amazingly debilitating when one’s lungs ‘fall short’; it is indeed terrible, and painful!
The intimacy of hiking, between the world and oneself, is truly amazing and enervating…as long as you can breathe, that is! Lol
